This policy explains what personal data we process when you use this website, on what legal basis, and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / DSGVO).

2. Data we process

Server log data

When you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically collects technical information your browser transmits, such as IP address, date and time of the request, browser type and operating system. This is necessary to deliver the site securely and reliably (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR).

Contact by email

If you contact us by email, the data you provide (e.g. your email address and message) is processed to handle your request (Art. 6 (1)(b) and (f) GDPR) and is not shared with third parties.

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic to the site (e.g. page views). This tool is cookieless and does not track individual users across sites, so no consent is required (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR).

Staff and team login

Team members who log in to manage site content are authenticated via Supabase, which sets a session cookie strictly necessary to keep them signed in (Art. 6 (1)(b) and (f) GDPR). This does not affect visitors browsing the public site.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. The provider processes the server log data described above on our behalf under a data processing agreement. Data may be transferred to servers outside the EU under appropriate safeguards.

4. External services and links

The site links to and may embed third-party services such as WhatsApp, Spotify, YouTube, Instagram and LinkedIn. When you follow these links or interact with embedded content, the respective provider may process your data under its own privacy policy. Please review those policies for details.

5. Cookies

We keep cookies to a minimum. The only cookie we set is a strictly necessary session cookie for team members logging in to manage the site (see “Staff and team login” above), which does not require consent. Our analytics tool (Vercel Web Analytics) does not use cookies. If that changes, this section will be updated accordingly.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15);
• request rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16);
• request erasure of your data (Art. 17);
• request restriction of processing (Art. 18);
• data portability (Art. 20);
• object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21).

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
